Simply put, because *staying hydrated is one of the best ways you can support your body and help it cool off. When the heat is extreme, you may sweat more and need to drink more to offset those lost fluids.
You should drink water to counteract dehydration in hot or warm weather, regardless of your activity level. Drinking water helps lower your body temperature and replace the fluid you lose through sweating.
Start hydrating right away. It’s easier to maintain your fluid balance if you start out in a well-hydrated state, so drink water before you exercise, work or spend time outside when it’s hot. Then continue to do so during and after your workday.
For most people, thirst is a good indication that you need more water. Before you become dehydrated, you’ll feel thirsty and your mouth may feel dry or sticky.*
After a while, you may also become lethargic and unable to think clearly. Other signs include reduced urine output and urine that is a deep yellow colour. Your eyes might even look a bit sunken and feel dry.
Even being mildly dehydrated can be a problem, so don’t ignore those early signs. Mild dehydration reduces your ability to think clearly as well as your physical co-ordination.

We have a Bottled Water Cooler – how often will I get a water delivery?
Depending on the size of your business and usage, we offer a variety of delivery schedules. We therefore offer weekly, fortnightly and monthly bottled water deliveries to meet your hydration requirements.
What if we run out of water?
AquAid offers all our customers a free-of-charge emergency service should you run out of water. We know the importance of keeping hydrated and will always do our best to avoid situations that will leave you without any drinking water.
How often will my water cooler be serviced and do I have to call to book the service?
As per the WHA guidelines, we sanitise all Bottled Water Coolers every 3 months and Mainsfed Water Coolers are serviced every 6 months. These services are performed by our experienced WHA accredited service technicians and should take no longer than 20 minutes of your time. You do not need to remind us to service your machine. Our systems automatically let us know as and when your machines are due for their service.

Recently, Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, spoke of his wish to have all London primary schools become ‘water only’ zones.
The reasoning behind this stems from a report that found that nearly 40 percent of children in London between ages 10 and 11 are obese. Mayor Khan said, “Making water freely available and introducing measures like ‘water-only’ in schools are some of the simple things we can do to not only tackle childhood obesity, but also improve behaviour and learning.”
